Amanda Moore-Karim (Luxy) is an independent wardrobe stylist specializing in editorial and eCommerce. Originally from the outskirts of Chicago, Illinois, Ms. Moore-Karim escaped to Washington, D.C. in August 2009 and hasn’t been able to sit still. She’s an Alumna of Howard University, where she received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting, and an Alumna of London College of Fashion, where she received her Postgraduate Certificate in Fashion Buying & Merchandising. She moved to New York City in 2015 and discovered her passion for editorial coordination and publishing. She currently owns her own fashion journal Luxy Haus where she focuses on developing social narrative through fashion photography.
Currently, Luxy is a freelancer in the industry with aims to transition into eCommerce Styling full-time. Over the span of three years, her work has been featured in Lucy's Magazine, Elements Magazine, Schön! Magazine.com, Essence.com, Afropunk, Panasonic Australia, Blavity CRWN Magazine.com and Ebony Magazine's social media.
